When people sign up on my website, can I automatically create a person or lead in ProsperWorks?

Why, yes. You can do this using Wufoo forms and Zapier. This article goes over how to add a Wufoo form to your website using a third party tool called Zapier.

Before you start

  1. Sign up for a free Zapier account here
  2. Sign up for a free Wufoo account here
  3. Unlock Leads in your ProsperWorks account

Instructions

We have teamed up with our friends at Zapier and Wufoo so that you can have a new lead or person created in ProsperWorks each time there is a new Wufoo form entry.

Once you have your accounts set up, head over to Wufoo and start building your custom Lead capture form.

You can use the link below to go to a template to get started on this Zap, or if you prefer, we've listed out the steps below.

You can map the fields on your Wufoo form to any of the following fields on the ProsperWorks Leads detail page:

  • Full Name
  • E-Mail
  • Company
  • Website
  • Phone Number
  • Title
  • Description
  • Address: Street, City, State, Zip Code

Once you are happy with your form, you can head over to Zapier to set up your integration with ProsperWorks.

Step 1 - Create your Zapier trigger and action

Step 2 - Enter your Wufoo login email and password

Step 3 - Enter your ProsperWorks Email and Token

Your token can be found in ProsperWorks under System Settings > Integrations. Please click to generate a token.

Important: Only Admins your ProsperWorks account to access Integration tokens

Once you have the token, enter your email and token ID in Zapier

Step 4 - Check that your accounts are connected to Zapier and working correctly

Step 5 - Choose which Wufoo form you want to connect to ProsperWorks

Step 6 - Match the fields from your Wufoo form to the corresponding fields in ProsperWorks

Step 7 - Publish your Wufoo form to your website or landing page and enjoy!

Now that you have completed the integration, each time a new form submission is captured, a new Lead will be created in ProsperWorks.

Just moved our company over to ProsperWorks and we love it. The lead generation is a weak point though. Since ProsperWorks is so well based on Google Apps it would just make so much sense for it to also work with Google forms. And the ability to populate custom fields will be crucial.

While it's great to have third party form integration, I would have thought that Google Forms would have been an option considering the deep integration with Google Apps throughout the rest of ProsperWorks. The more third-party apps we have to subscribe to the less appealing ProsperWorks becomes.

would be great to have a business card scanner plugin so we can just add these guys via an existing app. boom. next.

I agree - we are a real estate business, if there can be a google based or weebly based form input would be great. We use Weebly for our websites and there is form data there. I suppose in the meantime we will upload the leads into the lead list... Google forms would be great also for open houses and such. The more automated the quicker we can just start working the leads!
